TUI will operate a weekly flight between 21 December 2025 to 5 April 2026 from London Gatwick to Scandinavian Mountains Airport to allow skiers to reach the resorts of Sälen*, Stöten* and Kläppen*.

It will also offer connections to the Norwegian resort* of Trysil*, which Crystal Ski has reintroduced for winter 2025/2026.

The scenic resorts are ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers with other activities such as dog sledding available too.

Managing Director of Crystal Ski, Chris Logan, said: "We're excited to be introducing Sweden into our programme, giving our customers more choice when it comes to their ski holiday.

"We've seen first-hand how our customers love Scandinavia thanks to our recent growth in neighbouring Norway. It's a region that's a firm favourite with families as it really does have everything, and a true winter wonderland feeling to go with it."

Crystal Ski launches holidays to Hokkaido, Japan for winter 2022

Crystal Ski has launched its new destination of Japan* for winter 2022.

The country's northern, second-largest island of Hokkaido is a haven for skiers keen to try somewhere different to Europe or North America.

With deep snow cover of up to 15 metres and slopes for all abilities, the resorts surrounding the city of Sapporo make for an exciting new prospect for those who love to ski.

Ski holidays to Japan* are on sale with Crystal Ski now.

Crystal Ski Holidays launches rentable ski wear collection

Crystal Ski has teamed up with By Rotation, a fashion rental service, to create a The Ski Edit, a sustainable and affordable way to take to the slopes in the right gear.

Research carried out by Crystal Ski Holidays revealed that 45% of Brits confess they own items of clothing that have only been worn once while 21% said they owned up to six items that were never worn.

Teaming up with By Rotation, Crystal Ski Holidays hopes to prove that finding the right and essential clothing for a ski break needn't break the bank or the planet. Brands that can be rented up to the end of April 2023 include Columbia, Fusalp, Poivre Blanc and The North Face.

Crystal Ski Holidays, which says it's "committed to making its winter getaways as affordable as possible for customers", recently launched the affordable destination of Bosnia and Herzegovina* for the upcoming ski season. It is, on average, £200 cheaper than other value destinations including Bulgaria* and Andorra*.

Senior Marketing Manager at Crystal Ski Holidays, Ellie Eyles, said: "We want to make skiing more affordable and accessible to everyone, and we do understand it's a holiday that requires special gear and costs can add up.

"Our research shows that more people would be more willing to borrow or rent items to avoid a potential one-off purchase and this partnership with By Rotation removes that concern.

"Our curated Ski Edit includes a range of trusted brands that will get you skiing in style, without the hassle of having to purchase anything permanently.

" And we hope it encourages people to get out to the mountains and create memories on the slopes without the worry of additional costs or waste."
