Snow+Rock survey reveals demand for winter snowsports

The British Snowsports Poll, commissioned by outdoor specialists Snow+Rock*, surveyed 1,000 enthusiasts to find out how they're feeling about the uncertainty surrounding this year's winter ski/snowboarding season - and the results show that people are itching to hit the slopes.

Participants seemed largely undeterred by COVID restrictions with 40% willing to quarantine for up to four weeks for a mere seven days skiing or snowboarding. Broken down further, this showed that men (54%) and adults aged 25 to 34-years-old (55%) would be most likely to take a snowsports holiday regardless of current restrictions.

Meanwhile, Jose Finch, Managing Director at Outdoor and Cycle Concepts, parent company of Snow+Rock, encouraged snowsports lovers with serious FOMO to look closer to home: "There are many great winter adventure alternatives in the UK, from peaks to streets.
