Things to do in Tenerife in October 2025
Kicking off the month is a series of events across the south of the island: Arona's Fiestas Mayores and Adeje's Fiestas de Patronales are likely to appeal to tourists who prefer not to venture too far from their resort but are nonetheless keen on embracing Canarian culture.
One of Tenerife's most curious events takes place in the Valle de Guerra during October. A heady brew of gunpowder, mayhem, and pantomime, La Librea de la Virgen replays the naval Battle of Lepanto between the combined forces of the Holy League's Spain and Venice and an Ottoman Empire fleet on land.
Experimentation is the focus of Santa Cruz de Tenerife's Keroxen, held in El Tanque Espacio Cultural. This alt festival offers a blend of art, cabaret, music, and photography. With a cast list drawn from countries all over the world, it goes to show that the Canary Islands is one of the most multicultural parts of Spain along with the major cities of Barcelona and Madrid.
Make like Marty McFly and time travel at Festival 50's Rock & Roll. This vintage music festival takes place in Los Realejos' Hotel Panorámica Garden. Shake, rattle and roll along to DJ sets and live music from artists both national and international.
